Cedars CanSupport continues to grow each year and fulfill its goal of supporting cancer patients and their families thanks to our dedicated volunteers. We have over 200 volunteers who regularly support our cancer patients and their caregivers.
- Need someone to talk to?
Cancer can turn your life upside down. Talking to someone about it can be comforting. Our volunteers can lend an ear or simply be with you to pass the time. Many of our volunteers are former cancer patients and can share ideas about what helped them through their cancer experience. - Are you lost?
Being in a new environment can be stressful. Our volunteers can help you find your way. Whether you are searching for the registration desk, your treatment area, parking or cafeteria. - A bit nervous?
Cedars CanSupport volunteers are present to listen and be supportive to patients and their loved ones. - Looking for information?
Volunteers are present in the Cedars CanSupport Resource Centre to help you find just the right pamphlet to take or book to borrow to help answer questions and concerns you may have.
